It’s been 52 days since I started this blog. Having successfully written 45 blogs, I think I should look back and pick out some of my favorite posts in case you might have missed them. These aren’t my most viewed, most popular, or most controversial, these are just my personal favorites.
Piracy Didn’t Kill The Music Business…
I wrote this one after hearing, one to many times, that file sharing had killed music. In reality, this is absurd as saying video games caused the Columbine school shooting.
Death of The Song
This was the result of a discussion with a certain friend about what has happened to “good” music. It can also be considered a follow up to “Piracy Didn’t Kill The Music Business…“.
Evolution of An Idea – 8 Years Later
I wrote this one to celebrate the 8th anniversary of my web design / audio production company, Digital Avenue. It’s a look back at where it all came from, what I’ve done with it, and where it’s going.
Storm In A Teacup
This could be an extended version of the “Future” section from my previous entry, “Evolution of An Idea” about my company Digital Avenue. This is a look at certain business ventures and models I have come up with and would like to test in the future.
Lodging Industry Survival Guide
I wrote this while I was at work. It’s a field guide to people, places, and things you will encounter while working in the hotel industry.
All Thinking Men Are Atheists
This was finally my side of things. I’ve been in debate with religious folk for some time now. Never in my arguments have I been asked what I believe, just told whats “right”, according to them. Instead of waiting for an invitation that will never come, I put it all out there myself.
Charles Andrew Walters
This one is my most personal blogs. It was very hard to write about, but it felt really good to put it all out there. It took me 9 months to talk about the passing of my cousin, but it was worth it in the end.
